Brymen869s crest bug

I read that this bug had been reported earlier. I bought a Brymen869s from tme.eu a month back. The crest mode has a bug as mentioned here https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/brymen-bm867-crest-bug/

Though the reported was for a different model, the same is still seen on the new 869s as well. I have not written to tme yet but before I do I wanted if anyone else is facing the same bug. I used the crest mode to measure the min and max current during pulse on the Ac line and it read 25A ?? and normal mode it would not above 5A.

Would anyone how to fix this ? Is there a firmware for it ? Or maybe zero down then reading before taking the measurement.
