BUSS DMM 44/100 FUSE For Fluk 87V $10 from ebay

Hi Guys,

I have two Fluk 87V and blow yesterday both of the 440mA fuses, i checked on digikey and they are $45 each  https://www.digikey.com.au/products/en?keywords=DMM-B-44%2F100

will this be ok or where should i buy in reasonable price and can be shipped to australia within a week.

Most of the fuses on eBay are clones (not real Bussman).

They'll work as fuses, ie. they'll blow at approximately the right current, but the tolerances and quality control aren't the same. Whether or not they're good enough for you depends on what you use the meter for. What voltages do you poke at? How critical are the fuses to personal safety?

Wow for 2 of them it would be less expensive to by the from a german seller e.g. (german dsitributor for the 121GW):

At the moment i just started to learn the basics and building my lab equipment, i'm starting with SMPS projects so i'm poking HV 240V 50Hz so yes safety very important and keeping my expensive equipment safe as well. any places i can shop around for genuine bussman fuses but in reasnable prices?

Having recently blown a Bussman 440 mA fuse (aargh!!!) I discovered the retail price in the USA is about $8 each. You should look around for that price, and don't buy from eBay as there is no way to trust what you get from there.

I Found the BUSMANN distributor in australia they have the genuine fuses https://www.swe-check.com.au/pages/product_list_product/1/7/66/248

They charge AU$14 plus delivery (express post, next day in australia) and GST (TAX), they have stock on hand so i didn't need to buy many at a time.

When searching for DMM fuses, I found that the prices varied insanely, especially if you look for just one specific brand.

So look for all the possible parts. At least one of them will be affordable.
