Picoscope 6000 series PSU
« on: March 22, 2016, 10:59:08 am »
Hi,
Is there any Picoscope 6000 series user here?
I have one without a power supply.
From the manual I know it should provide 12VDC, 4A, center positive.
From my observations it uses 2,1/5,5 DC power connector.

Should the PSU have output negative connected directly to the PE in the AC mains plug ? (I can buy PSU with and without this link).
Could someone send a closer picture of the original PSU?

Thanks!

Does this help?

https://www.picotech.com/accessories/miscellaneous/ac-adaptor-12-v

2 pin adaptors so not connected to ground.
Disclaimer: I have worked for Pico Technology for over 30 years and designed some of their early oscilloscopes.

We are always recruiting talented hardware and software engineers! Happy to answer Pico related questions when time permits but here as electronics is a hobby

Yes, thanks!
However a closer picture would also be useful :)
