I stumbled on this Hackaday.io project:
https://hackaday.io/project/12231-fiber-optic-isolated-voltage-probe

The core of the DIY probe are the IF-E91D and IF-D91 plastic optical fiber transmitter and receiver. They're about $6/each and the data-sheet says they can be used to make a 70 Mhz analog link.

Maybe if you use a slightly more expensive plastic optical fiber transmitter and receiver, you can make a very cheap isolated probe that can reach a bandwidth up to 200 MHz!

I plan to share this link with my contact at Pintek! :)
