Title: DP832 faulty or not?
Post by: buvikingen on January 27, 2018, 10:00:33 am
Hello EEVblog

This is my first post :D

I have just got a brand new DP832 for my lab, and I began testing it. I can see that channel 1 and 3 is spot on within spec, however channel two is off by approximating 7-10mV. My big consern is that when all outputs is turned off, I can see that on channel two there is 7mV on the out put and running 143uA. I do not know if this i normal or I got a faulty unit?

Looking forward to hear from you guys/girls, and please say if you need more information :)

Kind Regards
Emil

Mine had similar offsets.  Technically within published specs but a little bit annoying.
I adjusted them out using my new 9999 count $22 AN8009.
Rigol calibration document attached below.
