Hi
Just got my Rigol DP832 triple output PSU.
It's noisy (acoustically).
I've seen all the furore about the overheating part and the various Rigol revisions.
Has anyone changed the fan for a quieter one?
I did this modification to my Rigol DS1052E, and now it's whisper quiet! - was wondering if anyone's done it for the DP832.
Also, has anyone modded up a little 5V SMPS module to replace that hot little LM317? Maybe the fan could be smaller/slower.
Can't stand noisy gear.
