Kepco JQE 25-4M modification

Recently got one of these really cheap. I'm considering adding a digital meter. I had one lying around and tested it - appears to work. Is this a sensible mod? Also I'm a bit puzzled about the patchbay of screws on the back. Can anyone shed any light on this?

If you want to measure voltage and the voltimeter impedance is high enough, there is no problem to install a digital voltimeter on our PSU.

Kepco also sells these JQE power supplies with digital voltmeter + ammeter readouts.

You can download the Kepco Service manual on these links: (however there aren't for your power supply model - JQE25-4M - a "similar" should be JQE55-2)
