Title: Rigol DS1054Z firmware

Hi All,

My first post here.

I bought Rigol DS1054Z just few days ago and slowly exploring all functions.

I was confused with one thing though. I was looking online for latest firmware version number for this device. The official website (https://www.rigolna.com/products/digital-oscilloscopes/1000z/ (https://www.rigolna.com/products/digital-oscilloscopes/1000z/)) has version 04.03. But my device has already 04.04.

Well, I guess that's ok, though I wonder if I'm missing anything??
It is surprising that latest version was not on the web. Also that website is not very specific, does not list version, you have to download/unzip it to find out what version it is. I could not find any other place with firmware.

Comments appreciated.

(BTW, unlocking still works fine with DSER option code)

A newer version was briefly provided but taken down because some people were having problems installing it. We're expecting a new version any time hopefully....

Since this page is high in google search results, I'll give an update: the official download page (the first post) has newer firmware.

Click "downloads", then it wants you to fill out a short form. The newest version is currently v00.04.04.03.05  2018/04/28.

nb. You can put garbage in all the input fields and it still downloads.
