Thank you sir! I have had my mind made up on this scope for some time, then the Rigol 5000 appeared. It has the potential to be quite a scope, but twice the price of the 1104 and likely far more specs than a 66 year old tinkerer would ever use. I do like the black though

Dunno what student discounts if any are offered by Saelig, best you jump onto their website for a look or contact them.

what range is the discount in?i don't know yet if it's viable for me to order from them since i live in Europe and as far as i can see the shop is US based.
if someone sends a code anyway i will pass it down if i end up not making a purchase
