I did a teardown of the Innova 3300 DMM that i purchased from Amazon with free shipping for USD9.10! Unbelievable, the accuracy is pretty damn good for a meter almost 40x cheaper than the 87v.
The meter has a good solid feel to it. Nice clear digits and no creaking on the plastic. The input protections are quite crappy. but hey! it better than the Harbor Freight i'm sure! the 10A input is unfused, while the mA input has a poor litter 340mA glass fuse. is that a PTC on the voltage input? i'm not an engineer so not really sure.
The top side of the board has nothing. but it's interesting to see 2 "ball bearings" on how they implement the range switch. Buttery smooth? hahaha, not quite.
