FLUKE 185 manufacturing issue: broken case and glass

I have a Fluke 185 over 3 years and I'm very happy with this because is a good meter for my needs.
I buy another Fluke 185 for a good friend and this have a major problem with his Fluke, after a period of about 3 years the casing and the protective glass have cracked. I find another Fluke 185 on a auction site with the same problems, the crack being in the same place. Photo 1 is my friend Fluke and Photo 2 is Fluke from auction site.
The same friend has the same problem with another Fluke 83V, the crack is in another place, but it's the same with the casing and the cracked glass - Photo 3.
If you have encountered such problems, please tell me your opinion because I think it is becoming a major problem for the FLUKE manufacturer.

After a few days I met another surprise on Fluke 83 V, a new crack at the top of the screen.
I see that this problem persists, and I talked to my friends who have been using the Fluke brand for many years and I drew a partial conclusion: it is possible perhaps the fault is also the age of the device and the precarious or premature aging of the plastic from which it is made, maybe also the contractions due to climate change, ie the transition from hot to cold can.
And now what do you think?

Certainly not an issue with my (over 10 year old) 87V and it had a lot of abuse from the sparky who owned it before me, including a number of scratches in the screen. Maybe an issue with the raw material given it's on a few different models?

Is it possible to take the cover off to take internal photos of that area and post here ?, to see if there is some stress being applied to that area by the PCB or a screw mount etc.

I will try to take some photos with the of internal casings, and I will posted here, but from my memories, I repair a Fluke 185 and I don't remember if I did not encounter problems with reassembling him.

Another pictures from inside of Fluke 185. Very surprising how the crack started from the outside of the case, then continued to the left-hand corner, climbing up the screen protective plexiglass. What I noticed is that inside the housing there are no screws or clamps that could have created pressure that extends to the outside of the housing. I think this happening is very mysterious.
