Hantek HDG2002B Burst mode?
« on: October 30, 2014, 02:46:01 am »
I am trying burst mode on the HDG2002B and when I change period over 18mS it stops generating bursts and as I want to generate bursts at 50-100Hz this is inconvenient. the software it is running is 1.00.2

I presume this is a bug rather than a fault? has anyone tried the burst function?

At the moment I am working around it by generating a pulse from one channel into the trigger input and then using gated burst on the other channel.

in fact looking through the various threads, I have found bugs mentioned here and there but no unified list, so I am thinking perhaps a new dedicated thread to known Bugs might be in order?

Probably a bug.  Not sure if Hantek has much interest in fixing bugs and pushing out new firmware.  There is an effort to build a new open source firmware and FPGA config for the HDG2000 series that is currently getting under way, see https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/hdg2002b-awg-firmware-reverse-engineering/
Python-based instrument control: Python IVI, Python VXI-11, Python USBTMC
