Sorry, was soon going to edit my post and add it in. This one has 12 detents/rev. and fits perfectly.

Bourns Encoders

The 12 at the end of the part# specifies the number of detents.

My preferred method of removing labels and stickers that I want to preserve is to use a product called UnDu.  It contains heptane and temporarily causes adhesives to forget how to be sticky.   I use a thin wire like a cheese knife to slide under the label.  My preferred wire is 0.005" tungsten wire.  Slide the wire along the label and with a sawing motion, applying UnDu as you go.  Also a single edge razor blade works well if the label  is not in some recess that prevents use of a razor or sewing needle.

UnDu can be found  at hobby stores... look in the scrapbooking section.   It costs more than it should...  I found a heptane based rubber cement thinner that for a 1 quart can cost less than a 2 ounce bottle of UnDu.
