Hi!
I have a really noisy input that needs a low-pass filter before it becomes usable (a lot of noise).
Because of external rules I cannot use any external parts.
Is there any way to do it? I googled but couldn't find anything.

you wish! you can however apply a filter to the trigger itself. in your case, select HF rejection on the trigger coupling

I do wish indeed. The math option is so nice. I don't need a lot of resolution, so I could just record 5s to memory and filter it in Excel, but triggering of the already working function would be SO NICE. Why is it impossible? Calculation limitations?

math is calculated from on screen data, not from acquisition memory (even on much better scopes, unfortunately)

depending on your actual signal you can work out different ways to produce a more stable trigger. though i'm used working only with edge and pulse/window and by adjusting the holdoff
