In this video, I did a teardown of the Electronic Development Corporation's (acquired by Krohn-Hite) MV216A battery/external powred DC voltage standard. MV216A is very similar to the MV106 Dave reviewed a while back and the main difference is the battery/external power option.

I also measured the actual temperature coefficient of  the reference Zener 1N829A.
