KL283 Electronic Load

Does anyone have any experience with the KL283 load? It is a two-channel load 80 V, 15 A each, which apparently can be paralleled for 30 A. I am having trouble finding any reviews or the operating manual online to get more information.

There are a few reviews available on Amazon. Some of them appear to be genuine. There is even a few pictures of the inside of the unit:

The manual is reported as "not having a single word of English in it".

I almost pulled the trigger on one of those, but in the end decided to opt for something programmable.  However, in my research of reviews and whatnot, they seemed to be OK for the money.  I never could find a manual.  While sold under several different names, KUNKIN KL283 seems to be the most common.

Thanks for the info and link. I am temped by the load because it appears to be cheaper than products with similar specifications. Programmable capabilities might be nice though. Hmm

I purchased a Kunkin KL283 a little over a year ago and it performs as expected.  It has a true isolation transformer for the mains power and they even fused and switched the line side of the 120V input; unlike many Chinese products.  The metering is close to my Fluke 189.  I think it is a good hobbyist product for the price; maybe not suitable for true precision work.  Both control boards appear to be identical.

Can you use these loads to simultaneously test a plus/minus dual rail supply with a common ground, such as a +\- 15V power supply for an op-amp circuit? From looking at the specs on the eBay sellers pages it says that you can parallel the channels in CC mode and use the channels in series in CV mode so I am guessing that you could not test a dual rail +/-  supply at a constant current....
