Measuring changing frequency and PWM as waveform(scope)
« on: June 26, 2017, 04:39:25 pm »
Hi!

I am looking to buy a scope (usb) for automotive repair use. The problem is that new automotive airflow meters use changing frequency or Pulse width modulated output signal.

I know that Picoscope software can display changing frequency as its own waveform, are there any cheaper manufacturers that have that same function?(looking for under 300$ usb scope)

i am currently using an hantek 1008 and were unable to find this kind of function in the hantek software.

Thanks.

Look for input filtering. This can turn PWM into a 'regular' signal.
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.
