It's like saying that analog voltmeters have infinite resolution. Very far from the truth, even in practical terms.

This is a zombie thread (6/2014) and most of the posts predate the DS1054Z and certainly predate the latest firmware.

Nobody would seriously consider the DS1052E these days.
