Hello, I was wondering if anybody developed or knows about a program, app or whatever, to control a GPIB interfaced PS like HP6627A or similar, the controls they are offering on the front panel are OK-isk, but cumbersome, and often some features are available only over GPIB.
On the other hand, I have a couple of 10" tablets running Android that are totally collecting dust and I could put one on the desktop to control the PS and maybe other devices.
Any ideas are appreciated.

 Cheers,

Your first approach would be  to send commands with a terminal program and see how you can control the psus

If you have the service manual or a programming manual, youll see what to send

And  if you dont have any already made program, build your own ???

Do you know any programming languages ?? vb, c++ etc ...
