Hello,
for DS1000 I found a nice software project to do FFT with PC:

Is there any comparable project for DS2000 series (esp. DS2072A) ?
Or could the project above be modified for DS2000 wihtout much effort ?
( I do not still own the scope, still collect reasons to buy one, and PC FFT would be a great one :-)
PyDSA can be changed to work with DS2000A. I managed to do it in a couple of hours one evening of playing around a while back. Essentially you need to change the calls that grab the data from the scope to do things the way the DS2000A expects them, as opposed to the way the DS1000Z expects them. I used both scopes programming guides to figure out how to do it. I'm pretty sure I don't have the code anymore, but it's not difficult if you are really interested in doing it.
Edit: Now that I think about it, at the time I played around with it, I think PyDSA only worked on the DS1000E series scopes, so I would have used the DS1000E and DS2000A programming guides to work it out. However I believe since then someone added support for the DS1000Z, so it may work closer to how the DS2000A needs now, but since I've never played with a DS1000Z I couldn't say for sure.
