Pomona lead package with Mueller clips

The other day I picked up a couple of alligator clip test leads and was surprised to find a Mueller lead inside a Pomona package??? These leads were hinted as older stock by the local distributor so I thought that Pomona may have owned Mueller or vise versa at some point in time and then branched off. But couldn't find anything suggesting that on the net.

Anyone came across this before?

There was a connection; the former owner, ITT Company, owned both Mueller Electric and Pomona Electronics. ITT then sold Pomona to Danaher in 1998, breaking that connection. They then sold Mueller to Desco in 2011.

Year ago I got some Pomona banana sockets from Digikey and was suprised to find a PJP logo on them. I suppose Pomona just repagkages some products made by others.
