Hi all,

Batteries - the curse of portable equipment.

When I received my Agilent meter last year I replaced the supplied Powerex battery, since then the battery has been sitting on the shelf. I've just noticed the leak signs on one terminal as per the photo.

If you are using this battery in your meter or anywhere else, you might want to check on it.  :-DMM
Not easy, not hard, just need to be incentivised.

Thanks for letting everyone know.
I have one in a u1253b and that battery is ok, I also use 4 of them as a floating +/- 18V low noise DC source for Instrument and other amps eg oscilloscope probe amps, all of these are about 5-6yr old and all ok.
Whoah! Watch where that landed we might need it later.
