Regulated DC power supply. Atten APS3003S-3D
« on: June 22, 2018, 07:57:59 pm »
Hi everybody,

First of all, I know that I'm on one of the biggest electronic forum but english is a foreign language for me and is not as good as I would like. However practice is a source of progress and I would welcome if some people want to correct my mistakes.

I recently buy some electronic stuff (arduino, soldering iron, some basic electronis components, etc. ). I would like to get some more equipment with an oscilloscope (certainly the Rigol DS1054z) and a Regulated Dc power supply that is the main subject of this topic. I found this one that is : https://www.polytech-oscilloscopes.com/alimentation-dc-triple-aps3003-3d-281079.html
The triple current source will help me to have +-15 V supply that could be current limited and an additional 5V source.

The specs are presented in the pdf file in attachments, I do believe that it is a good deal but I would have some of your comments before buying it. What do you think about this power supply ?

Thank you very much for your help,

Bobo

Welcome to the forum.

Yes that PSU is cheap for what it is.
The layout reminds me of some old Siglent PSU units and I wouldn't be at all surprised if the PCB inside had Siglent on it as they've made lots of Atten products in the past.

For the $, I'd take the chance on that one.
