AVCOM PSA-37D VS AVCOM PSA-37 XP

I have two questions :

- Other than the obvious, display and layout, I was wondering if someone here may know the differences between these two units?

- Would you still purchase one in decent shape for $300.00 to $500.00 with no specific purpose other than looking for sat signals(aligning) maybe some wifi planning (with the down converter) and very general amateur radio use
