Rigol DP821A Dual Output 140W Programmable DC Power Supply Impressions

We're considering the purchase of a Rigol DP821A DC Power Supply and I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has any good/bad/ugly experiences with them. We're looking for something that has at least one channel at >50V+ @ >1A. Thanks in advance for the help!

Why not consider the 832A and series connect channel 1 and 2? That way, when you no longer need high output voltage, it's still a good triple output bench power supply.

Also, 832A is much more popular with much larger user base, which means hardware bugs are less likely to remain uncovered, and software fixes will be more frequent.

Are there any drawbacks? Also, I thought that the 832A was only essentially a 2.5 channel unit, or am I mistaken?

CH2 and CH3 share ground, so you can collect CH1 negative to CH2 positive, and use CH1 positive as high voltage output, while CH2 negative as ground, you still have CH3 positive as a second channel.
