Title: Rigol DP832A Rev 2.1 Help.
Post by: AlanR on January 20, 2016, 05:37:53 am
I somehow blew out channel one's fuse and pass mosfet when I accidentally shorted a brushed DC motor's wires together that was connected to the power supply. The other 0-30  volt channel worked and the 5 volt channel still worked, but now after I did the repair to channel one I get this error: "Analog Board self-test Fails!". Channel one now works again, but channel two and the 5 volt channel no longer work. Does it need calibration or something?

DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found that I forgot to connect a header pin that sits on the side of the frame chassis of the power supply.  |O |O |O |O It now works again without error.
