HP 3589A error 72?

Can't find anything on line on what "error 72" is and what it affects and if it's fatal. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks Hank

I see you posted the same question twice on the HPAK groups as well but you provide no further details.  Maybe start with when do you see the error?  What symptoms are you seeing?  What options are installed?  Are you using an external reference, keyboard (other setup)?  Did you check any of the LED codes?

I don't remember the 3589A having any numbered error codes but I don't pay a lot of attention to it.
