Post by: JimH809705 on April 08, 2017, 02:32:33 am
Found a spelling error today.  "Pulses" is spelled as "Pluses in 4 places.  In the attached images, errors are circled in red.  green is correct.

They didn't win the test equipment spelling bee - no.

But yea, we all know about it.  :)

Hey, at least you have a pulse counter. That feature was completely MIA for a long time and IIRC is still MIA in the DS4000 and DS6000 series  :palm:

This is well known around here.

(and Rigols refusal to fix it might be an in-joke by the engineers)

My OWON SDS7102 scope's splash screen says "Waranty only balid in China". Go figure it out.

Ouch!  :-DD

in some region in China, due to difficulty in pronouncing "pulses", they decided that spelling "pluses" should be the correct word. so, it is you who are wrong. and in some places in the scope they retain the word "pulses" so everybody will satisfy, nobody will say they are entirely right nor they are entirely wrong. this was my friend's friend's friend's friend's friend's friend's friend's friend told me.

yeah but i'm surprised no long time member care to mention that this error was first mentioned here about 2 years ago, and no FW fix yet so far, that we have to live with it day by day...
