Hi,
I am currently in the market for a new scope. I trained using Analog ones / HP first gen digital scopes in the early 90s.
Now I am looking at getting one for hobby usages and am stuck looking at 2 of the Rigol scopes.

My usage, initially (and probably for the next few years) is for 1-16Mhz Arduino logic circuit creation and debugging simple analog/digital circuits (think timers / amps / motor control boards / switch mode power supplys for Nixie tubes etc).
I can afford around the £350 mark, but I would appriciate any suggestions or recommendations around which one would suit my usage.
Regards
Andrew

There are a lot of "I want a scope" threads around here.
Just have a look.

The DS1054Z is a LOT better for that sort of work.
More channels, serial decoders, bigger screen, lots more features, etc.
It can easily be unlocked to 100MHz so don't worry about that difference.

DS1102E is completely obsolete model.

definitely DS1054Z

I did and managed to get completely confused by all the information flying around ... but they managed to get me narrowed down to the two mentioned above.

I didn't know that ... thanks for the heads-up

Sounds like I will get a DS1054Z then :)
Thanks Guys

Just make sure you buy from an authorised dealer, not the ebay cheapies where any warranty work may mean sending it back to China.
