Is there an announced (or most probable) date for the official release of the scope?

By the way the previous gen is on offer until March 31st (batronix), so my feeling is that any disclosure of the new product would appear after that date.

So left hold my schlong on two videos now  >:(
Please don't get any ideas about doing another video with nerd nudity!

Still wondering what kind of problem causes Siglent to delay an introduction. It must be something really severe like spontaneous self combustion.

They've seen what the the newest R&S scope can do and decided they are way behind the eight ball ;)

Just got an email from them.
They are scrapping the model I have and are beefing up the standard specs. Effect on price unknown, but if it stays the same as I was told it was then the bottom end market just got very interesting.
They said the unit I have is the only one in the world (I presume they mean in the wild).

Where does that leave the status of the videos?

so they missed the market, with the current device.    Sounds pretty dubious to me.  Makes me ust wnat to avoid them more.

The scope as it was was quite well positioned, they just wanted to be more aggressive and offer more in a base model.
As always, it will come down to price.

Dave, did they give you any rough estimate on the release date? I suppose it will be in 2017 right? Thanks!

wondering what's really going on, what they're going to add.. besides the updated processor and the standard decodes
maybe dual adc (or 2GS/s adc)? sample rate was the second most important point that made me cross the sds1000x from my list

also, a local store tweeted about trying the sds1000x-e at embedded world

https://twitter.com/BatterFlySrl/status/841961273696882690/photo/1

so yours wasn't really the only one around... or the sds1000x-e is not the subject of this topic afer all

"Scrapping" sounds like the ETA is not going to be in the immediate future though. Even if they were working on the new alternative already.
