Hi all,

Looking at getting one of these re-badged Korads. Looking for comments from anyone with experience owning one. Two decisions 3 Ampere or 5 Ampere and USB/Serial or not. Not interested in the 'get an Agilent /HP/ ... quality argument - at this price point, or even double that, there is nothing in Aus. with the same features.

There was talk that the 5A version might be the same as the 3A with software mods (ie same transformer), but the weight indicates maybe not? (7kg for the 3A and 9kg for the 5A)

The USB/Serial option - does the unit come with control software, crappy or otherwise? Not sure if it's worth the extra for the interface.
