Rigol DSA815 Programming Guide bad?
« on: May 08, 2013, 12:20:41 pm »
I downloaded the programming guide for my Rigol DSA815 from their web site.
After I unzip it I get DSA800_ProgrammingGuide_EN.chm.    Windows 7 opens
it as a HTML Help file.   I can see the table of contents but the actual pages are
missing.   I can navigate the table of contents OK but all of the actual pages are blank.

The other instruments programming guides are PDF files but this one is different.
Has anyone had any luck with this?   Is a PDF file available?

Thanks,
Pete.

I have a copy downloaded from somewhere some time ago.

880,319 bytes  MD5sum is

c1e19e02c977136004338247d673b5da *DSA800_ProgrammingGuide_EN.chm

Seem to be functional.

Thanks.

I get the same MD5 checksum but it does not work!
I would prefer a PDF anyway.   That is what the other
instrument programming guides are.

Pete.

Try this:

Open the file's Properties dialog (right-click, Properties).
If there's an Unblock button at the bottom of the Properties dialog, click it.
