Rigol Electronic Load Software
« on: July 17, 2017, 12:51:54 pm »
I'm going to be doing some power supply testing to quantify the supply over 120 and 240V.

I see that the Rigol DL3021 has RS232 and USB connections. Is there some software for it that I'm missing? Is there a simple serial protocol that I can use to handle the necessary logging in a Terminal program or Python script?

I'd like to do a barrage of sawtooth, square, and endurance tests on both US and EU mains levels. Just setting the load and watching it isn't enough, I need the data to be able to generate plots in either MATLAB or Excel for documentation and design records.
