New HIOKI DT4255 model with fuse at voltage terminal

If it hsd current than I would see it, but voltage measurements typically have an input impedance of about 10meg ohms. It would take a high voltage to blow a fuse for that...

Hmm, strange. I can only think this is to help prevent the kinds of accidents we have read about here with people getting severely burned or killed by connecting a meter across a circuit it wasn't rated for. There is currently no standard for this but it could help.
