Title: Rigol MSO2072A Logic Analyzer question
Post by: jugosali on December 04, 2016, 12:11:13 pm
Hi

I come from here:

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/beginners/presentation-and-help-to-choose-logic-analyzer/ (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/beginners/presentation-and-help-to-choose-logic-analyzer/)

Long story short:

I have the chance to score a decent piece of kit from the company. I can do for sure (I think) with a saleae or similar, but as my company spending money is a rare thing, I would like to get a more complete unit that will be handy in the future.

Regarding the logic analyzer I cant find a lot of information out there. I need to record at least 3-5 minutes in a row of low speed info (9600 bauds 232, 20Khz encoder...) Is this MSO capable providing the extra memory is enabled?

Also, to review all the captured info. Does the software included allows to view on the PC side as the saleae or similar?

I see there is this Pulseview-sigrok software that claims compatibility, but have not found any info or video about it applied to the Rigol case.

Is there any online resource giving specifics about this subject? Mi searches have been not helpful.

Thanks a lot in advance for the help.

I have seen this offer that includes all the unlocks:
