Rigol RP3300A probes, 300 or 350 MHz?
« on: December 14, 2015, 03:54:36 pm »
These two came with a DS2072A. Both are model RP3300A, with '2012' on the spec-sheet, but one is DC-350MHz and the other DC-300MHz. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!?  :-DD

I ordered a DS2072A a little over a year ago, both of the probes that came with mine are the same RP3300A, with the spec sheet identical to the one on the right. Both have the 2012 date on the front. I wonder if thats just a typo, or maybe they test all the probes and some are just a little better than others and they put the measured frequency on the spec sheet after they've been measured. I doubt it, probably just a typo.

Edit: How close are the serial numbers?

Here's the front side of the spec-sheets.

I only have one plastic bag with the serial RP3A317157262 left - sorry the other one went in the trash  |O
