Hello, I've notices that all Rigol websites have error on their DP831, DP831A.
The error is that these are 2Amp models not 5Amp.
Here is screenshot attached.
I've emailed Rigol multiple times but no reply from them, I wonder how do they communicate when they get your money if this is now.

On a 8V chanel they are 5A
DP831 2x30V 2A + 8V 5A

Did not notice that, as the third voltage usually is just extra for the main 2 voltages. Anyway while sorting the PSU's this makes har not to buy the wrong PSU. As I'm sure everyone wants the main 2 voltages to have as much amps as possible.

Depends how you use it..
I deliberately bought DP 831 and not DP832, because DP831 has +/- 30V channels with common ground for op amps and other symmetric power buses, and 8V channel is isolated... I use 8V for logic and such, and can have separate analog and digital ground for mixed signal stuff ... I don't use DP831 for high power stuff, have other supplies for that...
It's all about right tool for the job, there are no truly universal instruments...
Cheers.
