Title: Rigol Ultra Sigma software with DS1054Z

Has anyone here actually used Rigol Ulta Sigma software to reset or reload upgrades to their DS1054Z?  Did it work?

Yes, I have done so, and it did work, using Windows 7 computer.

But since I usually use a Linux computer for my daily work, I find it easier to use telnet over the LAN connection to communicate SCPI commands with the scope.

I tried to delete all the Trial options using Ultra Sigma (Windows 7) which returned a 'timed out' response but action completed.  The Trial options however remained in place. However on sending an Install all options DSER this cleared the original Trial options and installed all the upgrades satisfactorily.  I believe there is a mention of this in the main DS1054Z posts some time ago and that once you remove the Trial options you cannot restore them. Of course that doesn't matter as the DSER code has brought all the options back.
