DS1054Z vs 1074Z for +$100(70US) ?

So looking at ebay , 50Mhz vs 70Mhz for an extra 100CAD/ ~70USD. I'm headed towards high frequency stuff, so I'd regret later not having more bandwidth.

WHat are the warrantities like on these these ? I bet they would be a nightmare to repair even for pro's and loaded with custom chips for all the processing and screen.

Also does Rigol deal with RMA's based on the serial# on the back of it , or only if u buy it from an "approved" store with paper work?

Does anyone make pure old fashioned analog scopes in this price range that could be repaired with crazy DSO digital stuff ? full of ICs ?

The 1054Z can be turned into a 100MHz 1105Z with all options enabled, for free.
