Rohde&Schwarz NAS service manual

Hello
Since a few months I am a happy owner of a RS NAS Power and VSWR Meter...with the bag and changable sensors one of the best products R&S ever made I think:)

Sadly mine is off spec...so I need the service manual...this is hard to get...i searched the internet and contacted Rainer Foertig Electronic..the only dealer who has it in stock....but I havent got an answer for  six weeks now...

Does someone have the Service manual for it?
I would be very happy if someone could help!

I have given up hope looking for R&S service manuals. They are simply not released from what I can tell. I even spoke to our friendly calibration hose about calibrating my APN62 LF generator, but they declined saying they could not get manuals either!

I have to say,that you are not 100% right...you can buy them via sellers like Rainer Foertig and Ebay.
But it depends on the instrument.
A manual for a NGSM is easy to get for a ZVC not....for example the Manual for the CMS52 is consisting of 3  fat folders.

Its hard to get manuals for the SMT series of SigGens....they are consisting of many HW iterations....they were made for you specific instrument.
Very expensive..

The NAS simply is a rare instrument...not very common in ham use.
If no one can help here...I have to contact R&S directly.
As sayed Rainer Foertig would be ideal...12.50€ for the Service manual...but I havent got an answer.

Hi,

It seems Foertig has some trouble with their IT at the moment. Try again to contact them. I bought several manuals from Foertig in the past, never have had any trouble with them.

So...I contacted Rainer Foertig again but they didnt send me something...I expected a bill at least:) Thats sad..for myself I only heared good things about them..maybee my order is too small (13 Euro) or they just have lot of trouble...but 2 calls and 3 Emails with 2 official orders in 3 months should be enough.

Because of that I had to contact Rohde&Schwarz directly...they phoned back on the next day and gave me some advise how to repair it..they havent got a manual either..they obviously lost some stuff when they converted everything to IT.

But...I was be able to recalibrate the meter and it works totaly fine.
