Hi,

As I am getting familiar with the CRTU, I started wondering how you develop custom applications for the automated measurements on the Windows 2000 partition.

I imagine that it works either with some R&S framework preinstalled on the Visual Studio that comes with the unit (did not test, yet) or one accesses the functionality using the NI software...

Any help is much appreciated:

- documentation
- sample source code
- existing applications

Thanks,
Vitor

Hi,

I have a CRTU, but the Windows 2000 partition is basically empty. It has the NI tools, Visual Studio and I managed to install the R&S drivers.

I have a folder with the TrayIcon.exe but it just times out.

Otherwise, I have no Windows 2000 software at all for this device...

Could anyone provide me with:

- the applications that should be there
- a complete backup of the HDD or at least the Windows 2000 partition
- any information of these applications

I know that the DOS mode is what people want to use this device with, for the spectrum analyzer and signal generator, but I would like to understand what kind of automated measurements this device was designed for.

Thanks!

Vitor
