SDG2000X 10 MHz output
« on: January 20, 2018, 01:22:13 am »
Can anyone tell me what the output level is for the internal reference to the rear BNC? It isn't listed in the user or service manuals. I'd measure it, but my service monitor is packed away at the moment.

Thanks.

It's listed in the datasheet as typically 3.3V p-p into a HiZ load.
Output impedance listed as 50 ohm

My unit produces 3.3Vpk-pk into a 1Mohm oscilloscope input. It is fairly band-limited. It's common-mode is 0 V, so I'm guessing that the output is AC coupled (though I didn't confirm that).

With a 50-ohm termination, the amplitude is about half, so it does seem to be a 50-ohm output.
