Hi all,

The latest firmware mentions support for additional wifi adapters - but not which ones. Anyone know?

Sorry I don't however the original dongle specified is from TP-Link model TL‐WN725N Gold version.
It's widely available for less than $15.

If additional drivers are indeed installed in FW V6.1.25R2 just try any WiFi dongles you have already and the display will show when one it recognizes is connected to USB.
When I beta tested them the only one I had was from a Samsung TV and the DSO didn't recognize it so I popped into my local PC shop and got the TL‐WN725N Gold version for NZ$20.

I'll ask Siglent today about additional types supported so should have a reply in say 12 hrs.

OK so the official word is 25R2 allows use of more types of TP-Link model TL‐WN725N, but it seems unfortunately no others.
The chrome/silver version of TL‐WN725N is more readily available and a bit cheaper than the gold version.

Just be make sure I understand this properly, no matter what WiFi adapted I get and where I get it, I would still need to purchase the WiFi software option (69$ IIRC) to be able to use it, even with the latest fw version, right?

Correct and only once the free trial times expire but there is another WiFi solution if you want to follow the solution Bob Sava took:

The WiFi dongle option is neat and tidy but Bob's solution might be equally fine for some users.
