SDS7102: Impossible to set XY mode remotely?

I've been using the Omron's rather poor XY mode, but what really bothers me:

1) It seems impossible to set the scope to XY mode. At least I couldn't find any SCPI command
to do that

2) When (manually) set to XY, only dot plotting is enabled (vector plotting doesn't seem to
have any effect).

The firmware version is 4.7.2. Does anyone have a solution here?
