HP54540A and HP54542A possible conversion?

Hi.
After having successfully converted all my HP16533A to 16534A and my 16750A to 16752A I am left wondering if I could upgrade my old scope
which appears to use the same components as the 16533/16534..

The service manual is the same, the block schematic too. Spare parts the same.... 1NB7-8353...  Same firmware T3.33
Sounds to me that the difference may be something very simple as some resistors..

Anybody with photos of a 54542 motherboard?

In fact a conversion was possible under the code name 54540U.
Not much information around about that.
