Title: SPD3303X-E firmware failure
Post by: mojoe on November 10, 2018, 02:52:54 am
Does anyone know how to recover from a failed firmware update? When I went to update, I may have accidentally clicked the Update button in EasyPower twice. The update hung at 2%. I waited quite a while, but it didn't finish. I didn't have any choice but to quite EasyPower and power off the supply. Now when it powers on, all the lights are lit, but the screen is black.

Updating my second supply completed successfully.

Nah sorry but I'll ask tech support.  :(

I had this problem, you have to press and hold in the twiddly knob while you power on.  Then you'll be able to upgrade.  This happened to me because I didn't select the 'Firmware Mode' in EasyPower.  It's on page 33 of the UG.

That worked! Thanks a lot. Last night, I tried holding various buttons while powering on, but I didn't think to hold in the knob.
