Synchronize keithley 2410 sweep with external ARB

I want want to trigger  a sweep on a kiethely 2410 with a function generator/ NI DAQ. Is there a way to do  hardware triggering for this?

Does your 2410 have the triggerlink socket on the back? It's an 8pin Mini-DIN between the RS232 and the power socket. If so, that has trigger input/output if you have or build yourself the right cable. All the info you need should be in the manual.
