They might be enough if you can get by the snakes, spiders, drop bears and attack kangaroos.

You'll need more than that if you come up against a big red kangaroo.  They can get up towards 7 feet tall and 200lbs ... and they will make a mule kick feel like a back scratch.

Reminds me of a story my granddad told me when I was knee-high to a grasshopper...

Belinda was a sweet girl; but her mother had raised her with high hopes and high expectations as are becoming the daughter of a wealthy architect. On her 16th birthday, she simply couldn't approve the invitations to her Coming Out party; there was nobody in their town (or her county, or even the next county over) she was even remotely interested in.

Her father rattled off dozens of names of eligible young men of sufficient stature in the community, most handsome and all wealthy enough in their own rights, but she told him flatly she wasn't interested; she knew every one of them and considered them all to be utter dullards or crashing boors.

"But daddy... I want better. I want someone ruggedly handsome, with a foreign accent and who has actually DONE something exciting. I want an adventurer from far away."

"Darlin', every girl wants that... but those men are usually just boys who never grew up. They'll love you for a while, but then they grow bored and then they will stray, as they've done dozens of times or more already. The young men I've invited are all of good breeding, and none have been with a woman, so their attentions will not wander."

The young girl considered, and agreed, so her father sent out the word to his couriers and business associates; he wanted to invite adventuresome young men of good families who'd never been with a woman. The invitations were sent to all of the well-bred men of their nearby counties and dozens of others as well from near and far abroad.

The Cotillion was a raging success; after visiting with but a few of the local boys, her eye fell on the itinerant son of an Australian plantation owner and she was instantly smitten. He had everything she dreamed of; the classic adventurer's lantern jaw, taut bronze skin, muscular build and his accent made her knees weak. They struck it off well, and in a month they were wed, with beaming parents and the approval of all the community.

On their wedding night, she could hardly wait; they'd spoken of all the things they felt and the many adventures he'd had during his travels, but he consistently kept a tight lip on his personal experience, declining any questions regarding his interaction with females. This only stoked her desire; she was dying for his touch.

Once behind closed doors, he placed her daintily on a couch in the corner, then kissed he cheek and began moving furniture, clearing space all round the bed.

She observed for a few minutes in amusement; then smiling, she asked what he was up to.

"Ahh, aye know what I'm doing." he answered. "This iddn't my first time."

"But your father said you were... that you'd never been... well, never been with a woman." she queried with raised eyebrow.

"Oh 'strewth fer sure, I haven't." he replied. "But if this is anything like it is with them 'roos, we're gonn' need more room."

Ordered Sanwa EM-7000 meter new from eBay, let see if it arrives someday. Interesting meter, not super accurate, but 2nd best in the market in its own class (as far as I know the Metraport 3A is the flagship).

Did pop to my head, which kind of side by side test one might want to see about it. The EM-7000 seems to be really not existent outside Japan, what I tried to google around in hopes of some reviews. I have two other old Silicon VOMs which by far outperforms the Sanwa by legs and arms.

HM big book of shaggy dog stories - probably handed out at the end of service or something like that.
Not allowed to be transported abroad.

And concerning the wine country in Australia - I severly doubt that drunken 'roos are safer!
