NVRAM dump for TDS340 and TDS340A?
« on: May 01, 2017, 08:12:05 pm »
Anyone got a dump from the DS1644 in a TDS340 or TDS340A with valid calibration constants? I have one of each scope, both lost the calibration constants when the DS1644 battery died and now they complain at every power up and fill the error log. I've been successful at calibrating the DC voltage but the timing calibration routine seems to be too picky to calibrate with the equipment I have. The scopes both seem to be plenty accurate in all the tests I've tried, they work fine and I just want to stop them from complaining about the calibration constants at each power up self test. If I can find an NVRAM image to put in the DS1644 then I can re-run the voltage calibration routine and I think it will be good enough for my purposes. I use one of these as my "compact" portable scope that I can take with me when I don't feel like lugging around the TDS784 beast, I don't need super accurate NIST traceable calibration.
