USB Camera software?
« on: July 04, 2018, 06:01:37 pm »
I recently picked up an AmScope trinocular zoom microscope for PCB rework, and just ordered a 16MP 1080P 60FPS camera.

From what I read on-line, some versions of the PC software are better / faster than others.  I guess that implies that the commands to and from this style of camera our somewhat standard?

Can anyone suggest PC software (Win7) that works reasonably well?

The important aspects for me are:
1) Speed if I decide to use the monitor instead of the eye pieces for re-work, while using USB instead of HDMI
2) Ability to take a clear focused picture of images about the size of a silver dollar.
